Ms. Joy Maina is the Centre’s Manager, Case Management Department. She oversees the Case Administration Unit, Case Quality Assurance and Advisory Unit, and the Case Records Management Unit. In her role, she is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the department, administration of domestic and international arbitrations, case quality assurance and advisory, and case records functions of the Centre.
She has over 10 years’ experience in litigation and government transactions including advisory on procurement and commercial contracts as well as in negotiating financing agreements.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) from the University of Nairobi and a Post Graduate Diploma from the Kenya School of Law as well as a Master’s degree in Energy Law (LLM) from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. Joy is advocate of the High Court of Kenya with more than ten years post admission experience.
