Service Instructions; Application and Registration to the Arbitrator Panel

NCIA continuously enrolls arbitrators for listing on its Arbitrators Panel. Below are the steps followed;

STEPS

Step 1: Fill in the online application form on https://ncia.ecitizen.go.ke  or Click on "Proceed to e-Citizen" blue button below.

Step 2: Upload all required documents and Pay the Application fee. Click here to download the fee structure

Step 3: Once your application is approved, you will receive an SMS notification to log in and pay for your application.

Note: The applicant will be notified after a decision is made by the NCIA Board of Directors

 

REQUIREMENTS

1. Passport photo

2. Copy of Identification Document i.e. National ID, Alien ID or Passport

3. Proof of Academic Qualifications

4. Proof of Arbitration Training

5. Proof of Training in Dispute Resolution

6. Copy of Resume/Curriculum Vitae/Profile

7. Copies of Recommendation Letters

8. Copies of Certified/Notarized Identification Documents for Referees

 

NOTE

  • Applicants should attach copies of certificates required.
  • Every transaction will be charged ksh. 50 convenience fee for Domestic Arbitration panel service
  • Every transaction will be charged USD. 1 convenience fee for International Arbitration panel service
  • Kindly Note that Funds once paid CANNOT be Refunded.

Notes

  • An application for NCIA Arbitration Panel Status may be made by the completion of application on e-Citizen platform and as set out in the Schedule to the NCIA Arbitration Panel Status.
  • The Registrar reserves the right to ask an applicant for further and better particulars of his or her application and/or the necessary amount of payment in settlement of the prescribed application fee and the current subscription fee.
  • All completed applications will be reviewed in accordance with the NCIA Arbitration Panel Status Standard and any amendments that may be made to it from time to time; and in particular, whether an individual applicant meets the minimum criteria for NCIA Arbitration Panel Status.
  • Within five working days from the receipt of a complete Application, the Registrar will either send an acknowledgement of the application to the applicant, or inform the applicant of the outcome of his or her application or, if necessary, request further and better particulars of the application.
  • If the application is accepted, then the applicant will be required to pay the required registration & annual subscription fees through the e-Citizen platform.
