Mrs. Doras is a mediator, arbitrator, negotiator, conflict management, and dispute
resolution specialist with nearly 8 years of experience in the practice, and teaching and
facilitating of dispute, management of conflicts and resolution of disputes for entities.
She is skilled at identifying different cultural perspectives that can and should be
cherished. Using the right conflict management techniques for disputes and appreciating
that conflict can be constructive and that differences can be a source of strength, and that
relationships can be transformed. Aiming at helping parties to a conflict not only value
and express their own truths, but also respect other parties’ unique qualities and values.

Executive Training Co-creator and Course Outline Curator in the Professional Certificate
Course in Diplomacy, Negotiation and Mediation at USIU-A, and Consultant. She is an
expert in Risk Management, Insurance Law and Practice, Simulation Exercise Practice,
Commercial and Domestic Arbitration, English Law, International Negotiation &
Mediation, and Dispute Management.
Mrs. Doras is an accredited member of The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb)
(both UK & Kenya branches), Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA) – K and Court Annexed
Mediator-Judiciary of Kenya. Her key accomplishments include but not limited to being
the Executive Training Facilitator/Trainer, Co-creator and Course Outline Curator in the
Professional Certificate Course in Diplomacy, Negotiation and Mediation at USIU-A and
Practice In Alternative Dispute Resolution as well as being involved in panel discussions
with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
